1. Overview
MMPlayer (Bundle ID: com.MASIYA.MMPlayer, hereinafter "the App") is developed by an independent developer ("we", "us"). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your data.
Key point: The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. All data is stored locally on your device only.
This policy is effective as of April 1, 2026. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy in its entirety. This policy is available at any time via the App Store listing and this page.
2. Information We Collect
The App does not collect:
- Name, phone number, email address, or other identifying information
- Location data
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, etc.)
- Usage analytics or crash reports
Data stored locally on your device only (we cannot access this):
- Media library file list (local paths to video/audio files)
- Playback history and progress
- User-created playlists and folders
- Subtitle files and AB loop segments
- App preferences and settings
3. In-App Purchases
The App offers in-app purchases (such as AB loop premium features). All purchase transactions are processed through Apple's App Store payment system. We do not access, collect, or store any of your payment information (including credit card numbers, bank accounts, etc.). Transaction information is managed by Apple in accordance with its privacy policy.
4. Local Network (Wi-Fi Transfer)
The Wi-Fi Transfer feature starts a local HTTP server for transferring media files between devices on the same network. This feature:
- Only runs when you actively enable it
- Communicates only within your local network — never the internet
- Does not route data through our servers
- Can be disabled at any time
Please note that Wi-Fi Transfer uses unencrypted HTTP. We recommend using this feature only on trusted networks.
5. Camera (QR Code)
The QR Code feature requires camera access to scan codes. Camera data is not recorded, stored, or uploaded — it is used only for real-time scanning.
6. Face ID / Touch ID (Secure Space)
The Secure Space feature uses iOS biometric authentication. Biometric data is processed entirely by the iOS Secure Enclave at the hardware level. The App cannot access, store, or transmit your biometric data.
7. Apple Watch Data Sync
The App supports syncing playback status and control information with a paired Apple Watch. This data synchronization:
- Transfers directly between devices via Apple's Watch Connectivity framework
- Does not pass through our servers or any third-party services
- Only includes playback state (such as current track, progress, etc.), not media files themselves
8. Information Sharing
We do not sell, transfer, or share any personal information with third parties. The App contains no third-party advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs.
9. Data Security
Your data security relies on iOS sandbox mechanisms and device encryption. Files in Secure Space are protected by additional biometric authentication. To permanently delete all data, simply delete the App from your iOS device.
In the event of a security incident that may affect user data, we will notify you within a reasonable time through app updates or on this page.
10. Minors' Protection
The App is a general-purpose media player suitable for users of all ages. Since the App does not collect any personal information, there is no scenario in which a minor's personal data could be collected or processed. We recommend that minors use the App under the guidance of a parent or guardian. If you have any concerns, please contact us.
11. Your Rights
Under applicable privacy laws (including China's Personal Information Protection Law), you have the right to access, copy, correct, and delete your personal information. Since we collect no personal information, no data access or deletion request to us is needed. To delete all locally stored data, simply delete the App from your device.
12. Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes, we will notify you through app update notes or a prominent notice on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the App.

14. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, including the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), the Cybersecurity Law, and the Data Security Law.
Since the App does not collect any personal data, the data protection requirements under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) do not materially apply. Nonetheless, we are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the highest standards.

This English version is provided for reference only. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
