Blink (the "App") is independently developed by an independent developer ("we", "us"). Please read this disclaimer carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the entirety of this disclaimer.
2. "As Is" Provision
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
3. Functionality Statement
The App is an offline light signal communication tool that transmits Morse code via flashlight or screen flashes, including:
- Sending Morse code signals via flashlight or screen flash
- SOS emergency signal transmission
- 60+ preset phrases across emergency, outdoor, medical, and other scenarios
- Camera-based Morse code signal recognition and decoding
- Night vision mode and customizable flash colors
- In-app purchases (to unlock premium features)
The App does not provide: network communication, satellite SOS, GPS positioning, or real-time voice calls.
4. Safe Usage Statement
The App transmits light signals via flashlight or screen flash. Please note the following when using:
- The App is not a substitute for emergency services (110/120/119), satellite SOS, or professional rescue equipment
- Do not use the App while driving or operating dangerous equipment
- Users with photosensitive epilepsy should avoid use or consult a doctor before use
- Prolonged high-frequency flashing may cause device overheating — built-in temperature monitoring and auto-protection are included
- Screen mode is recommended when battery is below 5%
- Light signal communication requires the recipient to see the light source and understand Morse code or the agreed meaning
Any consequences arising from using the App in inappropriate scenarios or over-reliance on the App for emergency rescue are the sole responsibility of the user.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
- Device damage, data loss, or other losses resulting from use of the App
- Damage caused by user error or misuse
- Service interruptions due to force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, network failures, iOS system updates causing compatibility issues)
- Issues caused by third-party services or software
- Any consequences arising from reliance on the App's light signal features for emergency rescue
6. In-App Purchases
All in-app purchase transactions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms of service. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support. We do not directly handle payment or refund matters.
7. Third-Party Components
The App does not use any third-party open-source components or SDKs. All code is originally developed by the developer.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This disclaimer is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if unsuccessful, either party may file a lawsuit with a court of competent jurisdiction where the developer is located.
