Photo Size Compressor JPG (the "App") is independently developed by an independent developer ("we", "us"). Please read this disclaimer carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the entirety of this disclaimer.
2. "As Is" Provision
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
3. Functionality Statement
The App is a photo size and file-size processing tool. All photo handling happens locally on the device, including:
- Cropping selected photos to a chosen ratio
- Common application and ID photo presets (1-inch, 2-inch, 295×413, etc.)
- Setting exact pixel dimensions and target KB, exporting to JPG
- Result screen showing output dimensions, file size, JPEG quality, and whether the target is met
- Saving to Photos or sending to other apps via the system share sheet
- Custom width/height, target KB, and finer JPEG control (Pro)
- In-app purchases (Lifetime / Yearly / Monthly)
The App does not provide: online photo editing, AI background removal or replacement, batch processing, cloud backup, cross-device sync, official platform compliance certification, or print-quality guarantees.
4. User Content and Copyright Responsibility
Photos that you crop, compress, save, or share through the App are your responsibility. You must confirm their lawful source, the subject's authorization, and your intended use. Do not use the App to process photos that infringe on another person's portrait rights, copyright, or other legitimate rights and interests.
Any legal liability arising from processing, saving, or sharing such content through the App rests solely with the user, not with the App or its developer.
5. Upload Platform Compliance Statement
The "common presets" in the App (such as 1-inch, 2-inch, 295×413, target KB, etc.) are based on publicly known references for typical exam, registration, and document upload scenarios. They do not constitute a guarantee of compliance with any official platform. Different regions, schools, agencies, or government systems may impose different — and often changing — requirements for photo dimensions, background color, file size, and naming format.
Before submitting a photo to your target platform, always follow the latest official requirements published by that platform. Any rejection, review failure, delay, or loss caused by photos not meeting the target platform's requirements is the sole responsibility of the user, not the App or its developer.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
- Device damage, data loss, or other losses resulting from use of the App
- Damage caused by user error or misuse
- Service interruptions due to force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, network failures, iOS system updates causing compatibility issues)
- Issues caused by third-party services or software
6. In-App Purchases
All in-app purchase transactions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms of service. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support. We do not directly handle payment or refund matters.
7. Third-Party Components
The App uses Apple-provided system frameworks including SwiftUI, PhotosUI, ImageIO, UniformTypeIdentifiers, and StoreKit 2. It does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or A/B testing SDKs.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This disclaimer is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if unsuccessful, either party may file a lawsuit with a court of competent jurisdiction where the developer is located.
