Sanguo Baijian (the "App") is independently developed by an independent developer ("we", "us"). Please read this disclaimer carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the entirety of this disclaimer.

2. "As Is" Provision

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

3. Functionality Statement

The App is a Three Kingdoms personality test and knowledge exploration tool. Core content is browsed locally on device, including:

  • Three Kingdoms personality tests, strategy-style tests, and quiz-style questions
  • Character biographies, relationship graphs, representative events, timelines, and period snapshots
  • Comparisons between Romance episodes and records such as Records of the Three Kingdoms, with source and editorial notes
  • Baijian Archive topics including stratagems, battle briefings, offices, logistics, and rivalry comparisons
  • Favorites, reading history, search records, test results, and traditional-style share card generation
  • In-app purchases for the Ru Mu unlock and optional Tian Deng Run Bi support items

The App does not provide: psychological diagnosis, scientific personality assessment, professional historical verification, full-text ebook reading, news, real social networking, a user-generated content community, precise GIS maps, or dynamic territory simulation.

4. Historical Content and Test Boundaries

The App uses Romance of the Three Kingdoms as the main narrative entry point and references historical materials such as Records of the Three Kingdoms for comparison. Content is organized, excerpted, simplified, and edited for interest-based exploration and casual review. It is not a substitute for professional historical research, academic writing, school materials, or official publications.

Personality tests, strategy-style tests, and quiz-style questions are entertainment and interaction features only. They are not psychological diagnoses, scientific personality judgments, career advice, or conclusions with medical, educational, or legal effect.

5. User Content and Sharing Responsibility

Test result cards, content cards, and images generated, saved, or shared through the App are intended for personal enjoyment, communication, and non-commercial sharing only. Do not use share cards to mislead others, impersonate official conclusions, promote commercial claims, or infringe on the rights of others.

Any liability arising from the user's use, saving, distribution, or interpretation of such content rests solely with the user, not with the App or its developer.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
  • Device damage, data loss, or other losses resulting from use of the App
  • Damage caused by user error or misuse
  • Service interruptions due to force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, network failures, iOS system updates causing compatibility issues)
  • Issues caused by third-party services or software
  • Any consequences arising from treating test results as psychological diagnoses, scientific personality judgments, or professional advice
  • Misunderstandings, disputes, or losses arising from historical summaries, source differences, editorial simplification, or user-shared cards

7. In-App Purchases

All in-app purchase transactions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms of service. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support. We do not directly handle payment or refund matters.

8. Third-Party Components

The App uses Apple-provided frameworks and services including SwiftUI, StoreKit, CryptoKit, WebKit, Photos writing, and the system share sheet. It also uses bundled D3 visualization resources for local relationship graphs and office hierarchy resources. The App does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or A/B testing SDKs.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This disclaimer is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if unsuccessful, either party may file a lawsuit with a court of competent jurisdiction where the developer is located.
