1. General
HomeVoyage (the "App") is independently developed by an independent developer ("we", "us"). Please read this disclaimer carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the entirety of this disclaimer.
2. "As Is" Provision
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
3. Functionality Statement
The App is a family travel album and memory map tool, including:
- Creating family members, journeys, photo and video memories
- Generating memory maps from photo locations or manually entered places
- Recording birthdays, firsts, reunions, and other milestone moments
- Syncing journey metadata across devices through Apple iCloud / CloudKit
- Inviting family members to shared journeys through Apple CloudKit Sharing
- In-app purchases (to unlock Pro features)
The App does not provide: cloud photo backup, a social network, real-time location tracking, or legal-grade archival/backup services.
4. User Content and Service Boundaries
Photos, videos, text, and location information imported, saved, shared, or exported through the App are the user's responsibility. Users must ensure they have the legal right and permission to store or share such content, including content involving another person's likeness, privacy, copyright, or other rights.
iCloud sync, CloudKit Sharing, Photos permissions, reverse geocoding, and App Store purchases are provided by Apple system services. These services may be affected by network conditions, Apple ID status, iCloud storage, sharing permissions, iOS version, and Apple service availability.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
- Device damage, data loss, or other losses resulting from use of the App
- Damage caused by user error or misuse
- Service interruptions due to force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, network failures, iOS system updates causing compatibility issues)
- Issues caused by third-party services or software
- Syncing, sharing, importing, or exporting issues caused by iCloud, CloudKit, Photos permissions, network status, or Apple service availability
- Any consequences arising from user-shared content that includes personal, family, child, location, or likeness information
6. In-App Purchases
All in-app purchase transactions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms of service. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support. We do not directly handle payment or refund matters.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple system services including StoreKit, Photos, CoreLocation/geocoding, iCloud, CloudKit, and CloudKit Sharing. The App does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This disclaimer is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if unsuccessful, either party may file a lawsuit with a court of competent jurisdiction where the developer is located.

We reserve the right to update this disclaimer at any time. Updated content will be published on this page with the revision date noted. If significant changes are made, we will notify you through app update notes or a prominent notice on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated disclaimer. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the App.

This English version is provided for reference only. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
